Popular Ibadan-based businessman and philanthropist, Alhaji Mufutau Ajadi Lanihun, who was also known as "Olowo ti nfowo Sanu" is dead.
Lanihun, 69, died at his residence in Ibadan on Sunday March 29 after a protracted illness.
Lanihun, was the Giwa Adinni of Yoruba land, "Olowo ti nfowo sanu”–A wealthy man with extreme generosity; Lanihun contributed immensely to the education sector in Oyo State, he built schools and gave scholarships to many indigent students.
His remains have been buried at his residence in Oke-Ado, Ibadan according to Islamic rites.
