First Lady Patience Jonathan Returns Home

Yesterday, Thisday reported that Mrs Patience Jonathan arrived Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja via Emirates Airlines.

It was reported that the anonymous source could not name the country she was coming from but confirmed that the plane landed at about 5.30p.m. local time.

Today, NAN reports that First Lady received a rousing welcome by her kinsmen as she arrived her home town, Okrika, Rivers State

The wife of the President Goodluck Jonathan has not been seen in public since the release of the results of the presidential poll, which her husband lost to Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) from the opposition All Progressives Congress.

Though the anonymous source is yet to name the country she was coming from and the reason for the trip is still not clear.

Below are some Nigerians reaction to her unannounced arrival.

One said: “My fellow Nigerians I advice you not to marry a woman from Okirika, you can see she left Jonathan at his trying time! She stop feeding him since the day he called Buhari to congratulate him! Instead of going to Otouke she left for Okirika!”

Alagbede Oro added: “Fear of prison was still taunting her mind, help assure her, she is not going to feed her husband in prison according to assurance from Buhari and Goodluck attitude of conceding defeat."

“I hope she has not quietly divorced GEJ and relocated to her village. She should go to Otuoke to sort out GEJ’s home coming,” the local added.
