Christian and his mum Jayne, 30, were gunned down last month when they answered their front door. The boy who now recovering at home after extensive treatment in hospital also asked Santa for goodies such as Match Attax cards, a remote control helicopter, and video games including Fifa 16, and Jurassic World.
Officers revealed the letter yesterday as they appealed again for assistance in the hunt for the two gunmen who struck in Salford.
